The Legacy necklace used contrast as a design detail: a gold chain and darker bezels around pale stones. JCK included the necklace in a 2016 two-tone jewelry feature.
The necklace and the coverage
The original studio note described handmade 14K gold chain paired with oxidized sterling-silver bezels. Jennifer Heebner selected the design for JCK’s Style Spotlight on two-tone jewelry. View the original JCK coverage.
An idea for mixing metals
Repeating one element can make different metals feel connected. Here, the darker frame and warm chain establish a consistent rhythm around the stones. When building a present-day combination, look at the whole arrangement: metal tone, stone color, shape and the space between pieces.
