Kids Ear Piercing in Denver

This appointment is for professional piercing of both earlobes for a child ages 6–16. It includes placement consultation, marking, sterile single-use hollow-needle piercing, professional installation of the separately purchased initial jewelry, saline spray, written aftercare instructions and a Certificate of Bravery.

It is not the correct appointment for cartilage piercing, an adult-only appointment, jewelry removal or a complete Ear Curation design session.

1. Check in: We review the attending parent or guardian’s ID and the child’s birth-certificate copy.
2. Select jewelry: Choose suitable initial jewelry from the available studio assortment.
3. Review placement: Both earlobes are marked and the placement is reviewed before piercing.
4. Piercing and installation: The piercer uses a sterile, single-use hollow needle and installs the selected jewelry.
5. Aftercare: You leave with saline spray, written instructions and guidance for the initial healing period.

The kids piercing service is $100 for both ears, per child. The $100 paid when booking reserves the appointment and is applied in full to that child’s piercing service.

Initial jewelry is not included and does not receive a $100 credit. Jewelry is selected and purchased separately, starting at $125 and up. Final jewelry pricing depends on the pair selected. Pricing for additional adult or child participants appears in the calendar.

Initial jewelry is chosen during the appointment and professionally fitted for fresh earlobe piercings. Available options may include solid 14K gold, diamonds, genuine gemstones and birthstone styles, subject to current Tennyson inventory and piercer approval.

Outside jewelry cannot be used for a new piercing. Material quality, construction, post length and fit all matter; “gold” alone does not automatically make a piece appropriate for initial wear.

The attending parent or legal guardian must bring a valid government-issued photo ID and a clear photo or digital copy of the child’s birth certificate. The piercing cannot be performed without both items.

The child must already be six years old—not six months. A parent or legal guardian must remain present. Please keep the total group to four people because the Tennyson studio is intimate.

Before booking, consider swim lessons, camp, sports helmets, headphones and any vacation that may place pressure on or submerge the ears during healing.

Follow the written instructions and use the saline spray provided. Avoid unnecessary touching, twisting and pressure on the earrings. Keep pillowcases, phones, headphones and anything that touches the ears clean.

Fresh piercings should not be submerged in swimming pools, hot tubs, lakes or oceans during the initial healing period. Earlobe piercings often require approximately 6–8 weeks of initial healing, although healing varies. Avoid booking immediately before swim season or a pool, lake or beach vacation.
