Emerald
Emerald is the green to bluish green variety of beryl. Aquamarine belongs to the same mineral family, but its blue palette and typical appearance are different. Very light green beryl may be described as green beryl rather than emerald; the boundary is a gemological classification question, not something a photograph alone can settle.
Care: For routine care, wipe gently with a soft cloth. When the piece’s instructions permit, clean briefly with lukewarm mild soapy water and a very soft brush, then rinse and dry carefully. Avoid prolonged soaking, steam, ultrasonic cleaning, solvents, and high heat, especially when filling or fracture condition is unknown.

Will the emerald's green pop against my other gold pieces? Absolutely—the rich, forest-green hue of our natural emeralds is specifically chosen to create a stunning contrast with the warm glow of 14K gold.
Is this hoop suitable for a permanent "sleep-in" stack? Yes, we designed this with a smooth, low-profile marquise setting and a precision hinge so you can move, sleep, and live in it without feeling a thing.
How does the marquise cut affect the look of my piercing? The elongated shape of the marquise emerald creates an optical illusion of a longer, more slender ear silhouette, making it a favorite for helix and tragus placements.
Can I wear this emerald hoop in the shower? While 14K gold is perfectly water-resistant, we recommend keeping natural emeralds away from harsh chemicals to preserve their organic brilliance for years to come.
