About the Stone
Moonstone
Moonstone is a feldspar gem prized for adularescence, the billowing light produced by its internal structure. Classic moonstone contains fine intergrown feldspar layers. As the viewing angle changes, the sheen appears to move. This is an optical effect in reflected light, not a gem that generates its own light in the dark.
Care: Clean gently by hand with lukewarm mild soapy water when the setting permits, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Avoid high heat, rapid temperature changes, abrasive cleaners, and hard knocks. Moonstone’s moderate hardness does not protect it from breaking along a cleavage direction.

Pearls form in mollusks. Natural pearls develop without human assistance; cultured pearls grow after a process initiated and managed by people. A cultured pearl is a pearl, not an imitation. Imitation pearls are made to resemble pearls using other materials and should be described accordingly.
Care: Wipe pearls with a very soft clean cloth after wear. Put them on after perfume, hair products, and cosmetics, and take them off before swimming, showering, exercise, or household cleaning. Avoid steam, ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive cloths, acids, and chemical dips.

Items must be in the same condition received, unworn or unused, with tags attached and in their original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
