About the Stone
Freshwater Pearl
The pearls in Nina Wynn's current collection are exclusively genuine freshwater pearls. We choose them for their luminous beauty, individual character, accessible value, and availability. Genuine identifies a real pearl without suggesting an uncultured origin. Gentle handling helps preserve their soft, lustrous surface. If we introduce another pearl variety, we will identify it separately and give it its own guide.
Care: Wipe gently with a clean, very soft cloth after wear, or regularly for permanent jewelry. Protect pearls from abrasion, harsh chemicals, and excessive heat. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Follow the care instructions for the design; avoid soaking bonded mounts, and let strung jewelry dry fully before wear. Store removable pieces separately in a soft pouch. For permanent jewelry, follow your jeweler's care and safe-removal advice before swimming, household cleaning, or activities involving repeated abrasion.
