A weekend in Mui Ne offered Nina a change of pace from the Saigon studio and a chance to spend time with a landscape close to her heart.
Dunes, water and a slower rhythm
In her original travel note, Nina described the sand dunes, coastal water and the quiet of a stream-side walk. She traveled with a friend and remembered evenings listening to music near the water. Those are personal memories of that visit, rather than current recommendations for accommodation, restaurants or transport.

A connection to place
The strongest part of the original story is Nina’s affection for Vietnam and the creative energy she finds in traveling there. She connected the experience to her interest in heritage, jewelry and the natural world. The story offers a glimpse of that connection to heritage and place.
